Lyrics
It's Over
Verse 1:
You say that he's just a friend, but you've never been a very good liar,
I've been through hell trying to convince myself that you've still got the fire,
And I don't believe that I can concede you don't love me anymore,
I've got my doubts and I'm working it out, but my heart is fairly sure,
Chorus:
That it's over, it's over now,
It's over, it's over now
Verse 2:
The clues to the downfall that I never noticed, now shine like the sun,
And here we are just trying to hold on to something, that's already done,
And I don't believe that I want to be your stand by, just in case,
Yeah, I've got my pride and I'm dying inside, cause I see it all over your face,
Oh it's over, it's over now,
It's over, it's over now
Bridge:
The hourglass is empty, the page has been turned,
And we're just a whisper of what we once were,
The weight of this burden is so hard to bear,
But I think we both know it's time to declare that it's over,
It's over now,
Yeah, it's over, it's over now
