About the Track
The idea for this track came from being a bit bored with my usual electronica tunes that rely heavily on synthesizers and keyboards, so for this CD I set out to do something very different with mainly acoustic samples from my collection. It basically wrote itself from the first bar when I paired a wailing sax riff with a hiphop drum loop. Various bits and pieces with a jazzy flavor, supported by electronic noises to give it an edge just fell into place once I saw where it was headed – and thanks to an old vocal sample CD I found a female rapper to add some verses.

LoopJunkie.de is a project. It resides in the most untidy studio known to mankind just outside Hamburg, Germany, surrounded by a zoo of mostly obsolete synthesizers and an electronic drum kit. He who is in charge tames it all with help from a PC and industrial-strength software.
